Dax Harwood from FTR has compiled a list of the top ten tag teams in history. What are your thoughts on his selections?

Please share this article on social media platforms. Dax Harwood from FTR, an experienced tag team wrestler, has compiled a list of the top ten tag teams in history. Harwood, along with his partner Cash Wheeler, have achieved success in various wrestling promotions, including WWE and AEW, as well as in countries like Japan and Mexico.

On the night before Thanksgiving (November 22nd), when many were getting ready for the holiday, a wrestler who claims to be half of the best tag team in the world shared his list of the top ten tag teams in history on X.

This list is good, but it doesn't include some important historical teams such as The Fabulous Kangaroos, comprised of Roy Heffernan, Al Costello, and their manager Red Berry. They played a key role in popularizing tag team wrestling in the 1950s and 1960s. They were also one of the earliest wrestlers to use entrance music in their performances.

The Fabulous Freebirds, known for creating the Freebird Rule allowing any two members of a three-person team to defend tag team titles, are missing from the list. The original Freebirds, made up of Michael Hayes, Terry Gordy, and Buddy Roberts, were popular and controversial wrestlers who had heated rivalries with the Von Erichs in Texas. Their matches drew large crowds and their legacy still remains in the state's wrestling history.

One notable absence from the list is the Steiner Brothers, a renowned brother tag team in the wrestling world over the past three decades. Rick and Scott Steiner were dominant in the ring, capturing titles in various promotions such as WWE, WCW, and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Known for their strength, creativity, and resilience, the Steiners brought a unique and exciting dynamic to tag team wrestling during their successful career.

It is important to recognize that lists like these are based on personal opinions and biases, often influenced by the person creating them, whether they are a performer, a fan, or a commentator. This can lead to overlooking the significant contributions of performers such as Randy and Bill Mulkey, known as the Mulkey Brothers, who played a crucial role in enhancing the success of many of the teams mentioned. It is time to acknowledge and appreciate the skilled individuals behind the scenes, like the Mulkeys, who excel at bringing out the best in others.

To be fair, Harwood did not include the Young Bucks in that list, so he did make a correct decision in that regard.

However, that is only my personal viewpoint. What do you think? Which tag teams do you believe are the top ten of all time? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
