Dax Harwood from FTR has compiled a list of the top ten tag teams in history. What do you think of his selections?

Please spread the word about this article. Dax Harwood from FTR has a deep understanding of tag team wrestling, having achieved success in various countries and major wrestling promotions like WWE and AEW alongside his partner Cash Wheeler.

On the night before Thanksgiving (November 22), when many were getting ready for the holiday, a wrestler who considers himself one part of a top tag team shared his list of the ten best tag teams in history on X platform.

Here are some of the top tag teams in wrestling history according to Uncle Dax FTR: Midnight Express, Arn & Tully, Road Warriors, Rock & Roll Express, Hart Foundation, Edge & Christian, Hardy Boyz, Briscoes, British Bulldogs, and Gene & Ole Anderson. With warm regards,

I am one half of a highly successful tag team in the world of professional wrestling.

This list is good, but it doesn't mention the significant historical impact of Roy Heffernan, Al Costello, and their manager Red Berry, known as The Fabulous Kangaroos. They played a crucial role in popularizing tag team wrestling in the 1950s and 1960s. They were also pioneers in incorporating entrance music into their matches.

The Fabulous Freebirds, known for creating the Freebird Rule, are missing from the list. This rule allows any two members of a three-person team to compete for tag team titles. The original Freebirds, made up of Michael Hayes, Terry Gordy, and Buddy Roberts, were popular and caused chaos in arenas during their time. Their rivalry with the Von Erichs is still remembered in Texas.

One notable absence in the list is the renowned tag team of brothers, Rick and Scott Steiners, who were a dominant force in tag team wrestling for more than 30 years. They achieved success in various wrestling promotions such as WWE, WCW, and New Japan Pro Wrestling by showcasing their strength, creativity, and resilience, which set them apart from their competitors.

It's important to remember that lists like these are based on personal opinions and biases, whether from a performer, fan, or critic. It's unfortunate that these lists often overlook the contributions of performers like Randy and Bill Mulkey, the Mulkey Brothers, who played a crucial role in making the teams mentioned by Dax stand out. It's time to acknowledge and give credit to the skilled individuals behind the scenes, like the Mulkeys, who excel at making others shine.

To be fair, Harwood did not include the Young Bucks in the list, so he did make one correct decision.

That's just my personal viewpoint. Who do you think are the top ten tag teams in history? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
