During the second quarter, Lamar Jackson completed a 12-play drive that covered 78 yards by throwing a touchdown pass to wide receiver Zay Flowers in the end zone. This was Flowers' second ever touchdown, giving Baltimore a 7-3 lead.
Jackson had been counting on Andrews, who had scored the most touchdowns among NFL tight ends this season with six. Unfortunately, Andrews had to undergo surgery on his ankle last week and was placed on injured reserve as a result.
The Ravens seemed like they were going to attempt to score a touchdown by running the ball. Jackson lined up closely with his teammates, pretended to hand the ball off to Gus Edwards, and then threw a pass to Flowers for the touchdown.
